Mt. Pumori (Pumo Ri) is one of the most popular and delightful mountain which is situated in the Northwest part of Nepal at Khumbu Region. Pumori, which means "Unmarried Daughter" in the Sherpa language, was named by George Mallory. Climbers sometimes refer to Pumori as "Everest's Daughter". Mount Pumori is a popular climbing peak and the easiest route is graded class 3, although with significant avalanche danger. Pumori was first climbed in 1962 by Gerhard Lenser on a German-Swiss expedition. Two Czechs (Leopold Sulovský and Zden?k Michalec) climbed a new route on the south face in the spring of 1996. Generally three camps are set in the approach above the base camp for climbing. Our normal route is classic South-East Ridge for climbing. The summit from Pumori provides excellent photography views of snowy mountains which will be a great perception for mountaineers. Our main mission is to lead the way for the best possible chance for success but adventure is one step beyond your expectation. Pumori is a one of serious expedition peak designed only for experienced climbers. The trip starts from Lukla after flight from Kathmandu and reach to Pumori base camp toward Dudhkoshi River. An outlier of Pumori is Kala Patthar (5,643m/18,513'), which appears as a big brown bump below the impressive south face of Pumori. Many trekkers going to see Mount Everest up close will attempt to climb to the top of Kala Pattar.

Information about Camp:
Camp 1: After climbing training and climbing preparation at Base Camp, we will walk about 3 hours to reach Camp I. We will walk about 500m. at the elevation of 40 to 65 degree to reach camp I (5700m.). Mount Pumori has many rocks, steep, some ice walls and tunnel climb. Sometimes you may need fixed ropes.

Camp 2: It is located on a narrow ridge at altitude of 6200m. The route further includes ice climb for about 400.

Camp 3: It is at the altitude of 6850m. From here we can reach the summit of Mt. Pumori. As the climb is still Ice climb and danger of crevasses, fix-ropes are most important to fix. The camp is also too windy.
